I find it very re-assuring to have accomplished what I have thus far given my upbringing. I'm from a speck off the coast of Lake Michigan, a town most affiliated with detriment and hard times. Bright-eyed and focused, I saw myself outside of that confinement sipping a Moscow Mule while chatting it up with my fashionable buddies right on Melrose Ave. I made the mistake of disclosing my dreams to a few. They smirked at me with amusement and disbelief. I wonder where are they now, what are they doing, who are they with and what are they wearing?
